Indigenous Statement
For thousands of years, indigenous peoples have walked and lived on this land; the ancestral territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishnabek peoples. Their relationship with the land is at the center of their lives and spirituality. It is important to acknowledge that these ancestral lands, are governed by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement. In spirit of reconciliation, may we always seek to respect the history, spirituality, and culture of Indigenous Peoples.
