On National Housing Day, November 22, 2019 we launched our Housing Hero Campaign in support of affordable housing and support services in Niagara.
Local Housing Heroes, community partners, volunteers and Bethlehem staff gathered at Warehouse Concert Hall in St. Catharines to rally the community to help solve the affordable housing crisis in Niagara.
Thanks to a grant through the Niagara Community Foundation, we were able to produce videos featuring our Housing Hero Champions to expand public awareness of this campaign and inspire others to join our growing community of Housing Heroes.
Housing Hero Champions are valued volunteers who offer their time, talent or treasure to help solve the affordable housing crisis in Niagara. As brand ambassadors for our Housing Hero Campaign, these Champions are making a difference in our community.
Housing Hero Champions were at the launch to share their stories, including Niagara Selfie King Jimi Russell, sisters 10-year old Claire and 7-year old Evelyn, local graphic designer Jordan Versluis, top producing Niagara Realtor Emily Barry, jazz vocalist Juliet Dunn, and members of the Niagara Area Jeep Club.
It is our hope that our Housing Hero Champions will inspire others to join our efforts and become Housing Heroes. Click here to learn more about how you can Be A Housing Hero.
