The Niagara Region is creating a plan to make child and family programs more accessible to parents and families in Niagara.
Beginning January 2018, the three types of child and family centres, including Bethlehem's Early Learning Centre, will all become EarlyON Child and Family Centres.
These centres will provide Niagara families with access to a variety of programs and services in one location.
EarlyON Centres will provide free opportunities for children from birth to 6 years of age to participate in play and inquiry-based programs, and offer support to parents through advice, personal connections and access to the network of community resources that Niagara has to offer.
The Ministry of Education will work with municipalities, school boards, community partners, parents and caregivers throughout this transition to enhance programs and minimize service disruptions for children and families.
Additional information about the process can be found in the Public Plan for Ontario Early Years Child and Family Centres.
