On Tuesday, January 24th we celebrated Catherine Chambers and her 25 years of working with Bethlehem Housing before she leaves for her much-earned retirement.
Catherine has positively impacted the lives of many children and families as a Registered Early Childhood Educator in our Early Learning Centre.
For 25 years, she has welcomed families to our drop-in programs, collaborated with our community partners, (such as Brighter Futures and our Literacy Consultant) and provided child care for families participating in support programs at Bethlehem Housing and Support Services.
Throughout the years, Catherine has been active in a variety of activities, including the facilitation of a program called “Positive Parenting”.
Catherine has also been an essential part of our School Aged Club program, offering activities and opportunities for learning with school aged children after school, on days off from school, and during the summer holidays.
Children have loved greeting Catherine when they come to the Early Learning Centre, and especially appreciated her field trips and outings in the community.
Best wishes on your retirement, Catherine!
