The Canadian Women’s Foundation held its eleventh annual national fundraising campaign to End Violence against women and has generously donated a portion of the proceeds to Bethlehem.
The campaign raised a total of $2.2 million dollars in which half is divided amongst 450 shelters for abused women across Canada and half goes toward violence prevention programs. Over the past year, we have been able to support 45 women who are victims of domestic violence through our transitional outreach.
Special thanks to Canadian Women’s Foundation and its campaign partners WINNERS / HomeSense for their support through its ‘Shop for Hope’ fundraising campaign, and Rogers media for promoting the campaign.
