The Province of Ontario provides support to our organization so that we can help women and their children live free of domestic violence.
Ministry of Community & Social Services
The programs of the Ministry of Community and Social Services help to build communities that are resilient, inclusive and sustained by the economic and civic contributions of all Ontarians.
The ministry funds many programs and services to help women and their children live free of domestic violence. These programs and services are delivered through more than 100 community social services organizations across Ontario, and include:
- emergency shelters
- crisis and support services
- counselling services
- housing support services
- transitional support services, and
- province wide crisis help lines (Assaulted Women's Helpline and Ligne de soutien pour femmes victimes de violence)
Ministry of Children & Youth Services
The Ministry of Children and Youth Services envisions an Ontario where all children and youth have the best opportunity to succeed and reach their full potential.
The ministry is working with government and community partners to develop and implement policies, programs and a service system that helps give children the best possible start in life, prepare youth to become productive adults and make it easier for families to access the services they need at all stages of a child's development.
